Scholarship for Women
Purpose: To encourage and support women who seek to enter and succeed in the Wentworth Institute of Technology Construction Management program, and to become professionals in the CM field.
Freshmen women who are accepted into the WIT Construction Management program are eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded for a period of up to four consecutive semesters (freshman through sophomore years) in the amount of $500 per semester, for a total amount of up to $2,000 per recipient.
Upon acceptance to WIT and the CM program, all incoming female students who are starting as freshmen will be granted a $500 scholarship for the first semester. In order to receive the second semester amount of $500, the student must (i) remain in the CM program and (ii) maintain a 3.0 GPA for the prior semester. Similarly, to receive subsequent semesters’ amounts, the student must (i) remain in the CM program and (ii) maintain a 3.0 GPA for the prior semester. These two eligibility requirements must be maintained for consecutive semesters in order for payments to be made.
Note: The scholarship can be cancelled or reduced in amount at any time, without notice, depending upon available funding.
