Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Construction Management Industry Advisory Board (IAB) supports the Construction Management program, which is accredited by the American Council of Construction Education. All members of the IAB have the opportunity to attend general membership meetings (offered twice a year in the fall and spring) and to participate in helping to further the mission of the School of Management's CM Program. In addition, members are entitled to participate in a Construction Management-focused company and career showcase each fall and an industry mentorship program beginning each January.
Individuals and companies contribute annual membership dues ($1,000 for companies; $100 for individuals) to participate in the IAB, which support many departmental activities. These funds have been used to:
-
provide scholarships to all female students who are pursuing majors in Construction Management;
-
enable juniors enrolled in the Construction Management program to take the Construction Manager in Training exam;
-
support student participation in the department’s study abroad program at Waterford Institute of Technology (Ireland) (not offered in the 2020-2021-2022 academic year); and
-
support student participation in workshops and student competitions.

Industry support is critical to the success of the Wentworth Construction Management Program.
