
About the CMIAB
Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Construction Management Industry Advisory Board (IAB) supports the Construction Management program, which is accredited by the American Council of Construction Education. All members of the IAB have the opportunity to attend general membership meetings (offered twice a year in the fall and spring) and to participate in helping to further the mission of the School of Management's CM Program. In addition, members are entitled to participate in a Construction Management-focused company and career showcase each fall and an industry mentorship program beginning each January.
Individuals and companies contribute annual membership dues (tiered membership structure) to participate in the IAB, which support many program activities. These funds have been used to:

Provide scholarships to students who are pursuing majors in Construction Management.

Enable juniors enrolled in the Construction Management program to take the Construction Manager in Training exam.

Support student participation in the department’s study abroad program at Waterford Institute of Technology (Ireland).

Support student participation in workshops and student competitions.
